Joel E. Wright and Zabrina B. Delgado won a motion for summary judgment in Hadley v. Accountant, et al. Underlying this matter was a highly contentious divorce case, in which questions of tax liability for purposes of the division of property were at issue. Joel and Zabrina’s client is an accountant who assisted the husband with his own tax liability calculations. The wife disagreed with the calculations, and asserted claims of malpractice against the accountant. The wife’s complaint against Joel and Zabrina’s client was dismissed with prejudice, and the court awarded him hi attorneys’ fees and costs.
