Areas of Focus
Overview
Prior to joining Lee Smart, Tim worked for a Seattle plaintiff’s firm and handled a high volume of sexual abuse litigation cases spanning multiple states. Tim’s experience handling cases on the plaintiff’s side of civil litigation gives him valuable inside insight into defending cases for his clients. Prior to working on sexual abuse cases, Tim practiced as a criminal defense lawyer in courtrooms across Puget Sound, giving him valuable experience representing clients in court. During law school, Tim worked full time (including during most of the school year) for a prominent Montana law firm, where he gained valuable litigation experience in the areas of wrongful death, personal injury, professional licensing/discipline, and criminal defense. Prior to attending law school, Tim worked as a commercial general liability claims adjuster for a national insurance carrier.
