Peter practices general litigation, emphasizing the defense of lawsuits involving premises liability, legal malpractice, and motor vehicle accidents. He began his law practice in Atlanta, Georgia, participating in the representation of major corporate and insurance defendants. After returning to Washington, Peter has represented clients in a variety of issues, including the defense of medical malpractice claims and criminal prosecutions.
Peter’s experience includes these notable cases:
- Casmey v. ABC, Donchez: Successfully defended legal malpractice claim at trial and prevailed in cross claim against co-defendant for indemnity, receiving award of attorney fees and costs.
- Central Park Tennis v. Emerald Paving: Defense of construction defect claim. Plaintiff claimed defect in construction of tennis courts. The client was awarded defense verdict at jury trial.
- Black v. Blauret: Defense of legal malpractice claim against estate lawyer. Obtained an order of dismissal from trial court and then successfully defended the order against plaintiff’s appeal before the Court of Appeals.
